Love Island star Matthew McNabb has revealed that he’s moving to Marbella for the summer.

The 26-year-old admitted that a number of reasons are making him relocate elsewhere for the next couple of months, with his fitness a priority.

“Great place to link up with other fitness peeps” the former show contestant said, while also admitting that the Spanish sun and great gyms were also major factors.

In the past year since landing success on the seventh season of Love Island, Matthew has been spending his time between Dublin, Belfast and London.

Admitting that he’ll continue coming back to those places during the summer for various reasons, Matthew’s base will now be in Marbella.

Earlier this year, the Love Island star also spent a bit of time in California with his girlfriend Laura Nolan.

The pair became official after their exit from Dancing With The Stars, with Matthew confirming that Laura was his “secret” girlfriend.

Leaving the show to travel the west coast of America together, the pair then headed to Matthew’s sister’s wedding in Florida.

And when it comes to the new season of Love Island, Matthew seems excited for what’s to come, having watched the show every year before entering himself. The former Islander said he’ll be sure to “tune in” again this year, when attending Virgin Media’s Love Island launch at House, Dublin.

Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player from 9pm on June 6th.
