Phoebe Bridgers Just Confessed That Paul Mescal Is ‘The Best’ In An Interview

It’s been long rumoured that Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal are an item, though they’ve never publicly confirmed their relationship.

The singer was first spotted with the Normal People star last July when they were seen hanging out in a cafe in Kinsale, Co. Cork, and not long after, spotted looking cosy in England’s elite Soho Farmhouse.

More recently, Paul featured in Phoebe’s new music video for Saviour Complex sending fans wild – as imagined.

But now, Phoebe has added fuel to the rumours by gushing about Paul in a recent interview.

When asked about her relationship with the Kildare actor, Phoebe told The Sunday Times Style Magazine:  “He’s the sweetest – he’s the best.”

Cute enough!

Paul himself previously spoke out about his girlfriend, but never named the woman.

The 24-year-old didn’t give away many details about his GF, but did praise her for her support over the last few months.

Speaking to GQ, he described her as a ‘lifesaver’ adding:

“To have someone to lean on through such a mad, mad time has been invaluable. Really, I don’t know where I’d be without her.”

It seems that the pair are likely to keep things private though, with Paul Mescal seemingly deleting his Instagram account which had over 1 million follwers.

The actor previously spoke about his issues with social media.

Speaking to GQ he said:

“Twitter is just trash, isn’t it? Anything anyone writes is just taken as gospel. Although support for the show flourished on that platform, I’ve realised that, ultimately, it’s a place that rewards incendiary remarks and divisive comments.”

He added that all the comments did have an effect on him: “Of course. You’d be lying to say they didn’t… everything about the show, about my body, about clothes, all that stuff.”
