Rihanna’s recent pregnancy announcement with ASAP Rocky shook us all to our core, and fans are overjoyed to see how the pair are enjoying the first phase of their parenthood journey. The duo has been stepping out looking glamorous as ever and gushing over one another in interviews. Commenting on his girlfriend’s new baby bump, ASAP shared that he had ‘never seen a female look so beautiful pregnant. Aww.

Aside from all the loveliness, pregnancy is no joke, and even the all-powerful bad gal Rihanna has opened up about the symptoms that are ‘putting her down’.

Originally discussing her pregnancy cravings, the ‘Rude Boy’ singer confessed that she struggled to hide her pregnancy from her group of friends, who noticed that she had stopped drinking and smoking, and was desperate for ‘cookies and donuts’ – despite usually hating sweets.

And now another baby-mama-to-be symptom has kicked in, and it’s one that’s taken Ri by surprise!

Speaking to Extra, Rihanna shared that while she’s feeling really great, she’s finding it hard to fight off the tiredness. ‘Tired at times… which I am not used to. I can fight through any hour of the night, but now it’s, like, putting me down: ‘No, you go to bed right now’.

Honestly, putting together even one of the singer’s jaw-dropping outfits would exhaust those of us with no baby in our belly.

Despite being a little fatigued and needing more sugar than usual, it’s clear Rihanna is loving her new bump and the excitement of what’s to come. The fashion icon shared that she’s enjoying dressing up her new body and showing it off. ‘Usually, when I’m on the red carpet and my tummy is a little big it’s a problem’ she started, going on to say that now it’s a plus for her; “Yes! Crop top season! Letting it all out.”

Chiming in on their attire as future parents, ASAP said ‘Mommy and Daddy, we ain’t too shabby.’

That’s for sure! We can’t wait to follow the couple’s journey and hear more about their experience – simply adorable.
