Selena Gomez celebrated a big milestone over the weekend, as the actress turned 30.
Reflecting on her twenties and the lessons she’s learned while juggling fame, her health and heartbreak, the star penned a candid post to Instagram, sharing some thoughts following the celebrations.
“My twenties were a journey through good, hard and beautiful moments that I will never forget. Each of them has shaped me into the person that I am today.”
Continuing, she added:
“I want to try my best to take the beautiful and the painful one day at a time and let it all make me into the very best me that I can be for myself/others/you. After a few days of celebrating, my heart feels full, grateful and I can say that I’m starting to really like 30.”

For her birthday celebrations, Selena wore a sheer Versace gown with beaded detail and sparkly hoops, finishing the look with a slick and classy updo.
Over Selena’s birthday weekend, close celebrity pals also shared snippets of the celebrations, with Selena opting to keep the festivities off her own account, noting previously that she’s trying a lot more to live in the moment.
