Tristan Thompson Confirms He Fathered Baby And Apologies For ‘Humiliating’ Khloe Kardashian

The NBA player has announced he is the father of baby with Maralee Nichols.

After weeks of speculation, Tristan Thompson has confirmed that he has fathered another child.

Following a paternity test, the results indicated that Tristan was in fact, the dad of a baby boy born last month.

First announcing Tristan as the father of her expectant child, Maralee Nichols filed for a paternity suit in June, claiming that the pair conceived in March.

Acknowledging that the pair had sex, Tristan then called for genetic testing last year and remained silent when the baby was born, and until after the results came through this month.

Confirming the news this month, via Instagram Stories, Tristan admitted he takes “full responsibility” and looks forward to “amicably raising our son” alongside Maralee Nichols.

Continuing, Tristan apologised to his on-off partner Khloe Kardashian and mother of his three-year-old daughter True, by saying:

“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”

Although Khloe has not publicly spoken out in regards to the news, sources confirmed to US Weekly that “this is a very sad time for Khloé,” with the star admitting herself that she’s “barely in my own body right now” last month in regards to apparent shade thrown at Halle Berry at the People’s Choice Awards.

Last month, Maralee Nichols also broke her silence admitting she would have never got involved with Tristan if she knew he was still dating Khloe, noting that he told her he was “single” when the pair first met and hit it off in 2020.
