Victoria Beckham has noted the last seven days as the “worst week” after she was criticised over the way she’s running her business during COVID19.

With reports stating last week that the fashion boss had furloughed 25 staff members from her fashion label to keep things going, Victoria faced serious backlash from fans who believed the millionaire should be using her own money to pay staff.

And although VB has apparently forgone her own salary and offered her staff “enhancement packages” as well as the government scheme, people think it’s unfair of her to let people go from her luxury business when other businesses are doing everything in their power to keep people on.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to VB explained how the star is not dealing with the criticism well.

“She thinks it’s unfair and had no idea the backlash would be this bad.

“She’s really upset and doesn’t think it’s fair she’s getting slammed for something a lot of companies and businesses are doing,” the source added.

A spokesperson for Victoria also recently stood forward to add that this measure is to make sure the business can stay “healthy” and to “ensure our much-valued VB team are protected.”

Victoria Beckham also recently celebrated her birthday at home during lockdown. Throwing a mini party with her husband, David and children (minus Brooklyn), the star thanked fans for all the birthday wishes and love as she turned 46.
