Zendaya And Tom Holland Addressing Their Height Difference Is Just Too Pure

Zendaya and Tom Holland definitely bring the fun and cuteness to their rendition of Spider-Man and MJ. And it seems as though things are just as lighthearted behind the scenes as the pair revealed some of their antics from filming – and the best has to do with their height difference.

For those who don’t randomly know Zendaya and Tom’s heights, Zendaya is around 5’10” or 177.8cm, while Tom is about 5’8″ or 172.72 cm. Their heights have led to some mix-ups when it comes to stunts together.

In one particular scene, MJ and Spider-Man are swinging onto a bridge, and when they land, Spider-Man is holding MJ and gently sets her down. But that’s not how the scene went when filming.

They revealed to Graham Norton that due to the height difference, Zendaya kept landing first and had to pick Tom up instead.

Zendaya explained: “There’s a particular stunt, I don’t know if it’s in this (referring to a clip on screen), but he, Spider-Man swings us on top of a bridge, and he places me there.

“He’s supposed to gently rest MJ on the bridge and walk away from her. Because of our height difference, I obviously, if we’re on the same like point because we were attached, I would land before him because my feet obviously hit the ground before he does.”

Tom then shared, “I’m the superhero, I’m supposed to look cool and I would land and my feet would swing from underneath me, and then she would catch me.”

The pair then did a quick demonstration for everyone of what this actually looked like!

But Tom didn’t mind the experience at all as Zendaya revealed, “But you’re actually very, very lovely about it, you were like, ‘oh my gosh, thank you.'”

Tom then replied, “it’s so nice to be caught for a change.”

The pair seemed to confirm their relationship in the summer of 2021 after they were caught kissing. However, neither party has actually spoken clearly about the relationship. Although, they have alluded to it several times, like when Timothee Chalamet teased Zendaya about Tom. Read more on that here. Whatever their ‘status’, we just need more of their cuteness, thanks.
