Cheryl Got A Cheeky Text From Liam Payne On Live Radio And We’re All Confused

What's going on here you two?

Cheryl (Tweedy?) is back on the scene with her new single ‘Love Made Me Do It’ and the world is delighted. She popped into the BBC studios yesterday to have a chat with BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw about her return to music, however things got a little awks.

According to The Irish Mirror Cheryl received a cheeky text from none other than her ex, Liam Payne, while live on air.

The text allegedly said: “play my song, aha”. Ok Liam.

Then, Cheryl requested that Nick play Polaroid, Liam’s latest hit. When the radio host asked if Liam was enjoying the show Cheryl revealed:

“Yeah he loves it. Says we’re hilarious and this should be a permanent thing.”

Cheryl and the One Direction star announced their split in July — just 16 months after the birth of their son, Bear. However, now we’re slightly confused as the pair seem to be on surprisingly good terms.

Twenty-five-year-old Liam took to Twitter earlier this month to congratulate Cheryl on her return to music:

This could be the first amicable celebrity breakup since..ever.
