Cheryl Reportedly Cried When She Received This Message From Ashley Cole, Following The Birth Of Her Son

Cheryl’s ex-husband Ashley Cole reportedly sent the new mum a lovely message to congratulate her on the birth of her little boy.

A source told Closer that Ashley wished Cheryl and Liam only happiness in their future.

“He told Cheryl how lucky her son is to have her and he always knew she’d make an amazing mum.”

On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever ?

Cheryl and Ashley split in 2010, after he was rumoured to have had an affair.

She’s been remarried and divorced from another man since then, restauranteur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, and has also started a little family with One Direction’s Liam Payne, but Cheryl has only now found closure from her split from Ashley.

The source added “Ashley’s message brought Cheryl to tears, and she admitted it finally felt like closure for their relationship.”

We still hate him for what he did to her, but that’s one cute message.
