Chocolate Fan? Maltesers, M&Ms and Minstrels Are Changing – And You’re Not Going To Be Happy
Say it ain’t so!
Confectionary giant, Mars, is making our favourite packets of sweets smaller.
The sugary treats are due to decrease in size by around 15 per cent, with no change in price whatsoever.
Mars blame the rise in transport and ingredient costs for the change, saying that they’d rather reduce the size of the sweet packets than increase the cost to the consumer.
They added, “We have been absorbing rising raw material and operational costs for some time, but the growing pressures mean that we can’t keep things as they are. Reducing the size of our products is not a decision that we take easily.”
People are blaming Brexit for this heartbreaking news…
Bags of Minstrels look smaller. Sodding Brexit.

We’ve already had to deal with Toblerones getting smaller and Cadbury Freddo bars getting more expensive. When will this cruelty end?
This guy is angry too, but for a different reason…
Right then, so when did @Maltesers stop being perfectly round? Should I blame #austerity, #brexit, or @realDonaldTrump? pic.twitter.com/PF2REiwMOB
