They had questioned her fertility.

Chrissy Teigen is known for her quick-fire wit and today a Twitter troll learned about it the hard way.

The 31-year-old, who has a one-year-old daughter with her husband John Legend, has always been open about having to go through IVF in order to conceive. After numerous attempts, she finally got pregnant in 2015, and was delighted to share the news with her followers on Instagram.

“As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now,” she said. “It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching!”

The couple still have an embryo frozen, since before their baby Luna was born, and last night Chrissy tweeted about the high cost of embryo storage. “Damn how’s my embryo gonna be in debt before it’s even born?” she posted alongside a screenshot of an email about an outstanding embryo storage charge.

And in classic Chrissy fashion, she followed that tweet with another saying, “Pay ya rent, embryo!”

But one person decided to question the mum-of-one about her fertility, asking, “Why would you use an embryo? Could you not conceive naturally?” To which feisty Chrissy sarcastically responded, “Oh wow I didn’t know you could do that. Would have saved me a ton of money.”

That person has since deleted their tweet, seemingly because of the backlash from Chrissy and her fans. So, the lessons we can all take from this are A) Never let anyone’s comments affect your sense of humour, and B) Never, ever mess with Chrissy T.
