Coyote Ugly Cast Confirm Talks Of A Reboot 20 Years After The Original Release

Our bodies are ready for this.

It looks like 2020 isn’t too bad after all… well, maybe; as talks of a Coyote Ugly reboot are in the pipeline.

Sharing the news with fans, Tyra Banks confirmed that yes, the speculation was true and that either a movie sequel or a TV series could be coming before we know it.

The original film which debuted in 2000, was not just a smash hit when it cleaned the box offices raking in over €96 million at the time, but it has also appealed to new generations of fans again and again, proving it’s a timeless classic.

And now, the talks of a reboot is music to our ears.

While on the Kelly Clarkson show yesterday, October 7, Tyra chatted all things Coyote saying:

“I was supposed to be on a conference call today about bringing Coyote Ugly back.

“Maria Bello, one of the stars of Coyote Ugly, we were supposed to be on a call. Yes, we are talking about trying to do Coyote Ugly 2 or a series.”

Continuing, Tyra also noted that she’s got no issue with getting up and dancing for the sequel, well, as long as nobody tells her how to move.

The question is, will we see the likes of Adam Garcia, Izabella Miko, John Goodman and Bridget Moynahan also reprise their roles? Here’s hoping! Either way, we’re excited to hear more.
