Daisy Edgar-Jones Has Reportedly Split From Her Boyfriend Of Two Years

It’s been reported that Daisy Edgar-Jones and her boyfriend of two years have split. The Normal People star had been dating actor, Tom Varey since 2018 but have decided recently to call it quits.

The couple met on set, when filming movie Pond Life back in 2018 and according to a source broke up late last year. The insider, speaking with The Sun, shared; “They got on really well during lockdown last year, but they’re both young and passionate about following their careers.

Despite living together happily during lockdown in the UK, now Daisy is living with he parents in North London instead.

Many have wondered if it’s anything to do with Daisy’s career, after the unprecedented success of Normal People last year, where she plays Marianne.

The star has most recently been nominated for a Golden Globe for the show, Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series.

“Daisy has been inundated with opportunities and feels she has to put them first, Tom’s also really dedicated to his acting and wants the best for both of them.”

“They were sad they couldn’t make it work, but are still close and there’s no hard feelings.”

We’ll be seeing a lot more of the actress on our screens as she is currently filming a thriller called Fresh as well as being cast in the lead role of Where the Crawdads Sing.

This film, like Normal People, is based on another best-selling novel, and will see Daisy play Kya, a complicated role.

She will be in good hands as the film has also announced that Olivia Newman will be directing, based on a script by screenwriter Lucy Alibar and lastly, produced by Reese Witherspoon and her production company Hello Sunshine.
