David Harbour Talks Ups and Downs With Lily Allen Amid Separation Rumours

David Harbour and Lily Allen are a seriously adorable couple.

The pair won the hearts of fans with their quirky, Las Vegas wedding; they were wed by an Elvis impersonator and chowed down on cheeseburgers afterwards with their kids. Too cute!

However, it’s been three years since the pair tied the knot, and recently rumours have surfaced that there’s trouble in paradise.

Eagle eyed fans spotted that Lily unfollowed David on Instagram shortly after their third anniversary, leading to speculation about the state of their marriage.

Now, David has jumped in to address the chatter, and lay any suggestion of separation to rest.

The Stranger Things actor told People that his marriage to Lily is “so great” – but he did confess that their dynamic changed during the SAG AFTRA strikes, which forced them into closer proximity!

“Ultimately, it’s very good because you get to know someone…but, let me tell you, my wife likes when I go to work.” he joked. “Because it’s nice for her to have her life and me to have my life and for us not to just annoy each other by being around all the time.”

David admitted to spending time “sitting on the couch depressed as hell” because he couldn’t go to work.

“It’s been bad,” he revealed.

“It’s like what happened to me in the same way in COVID, where you think to yourself like, ‘Oh, now, I kind of have all this time.’ And then you just check your Google alerts every five minutes and are just neurotically insecure.”

We reckon every couple who spent lockdown together can relate to that one!

Still, aside from some ups and downs, David continued to gush about life with Lily and her children, Ethel (11) and Marnie (10)

“We have these two kids, and it’s so great.

“We get to raise them and stuff, and as our marriage continues, we grow closer and closer.”

Despite the Instagram unfollow, Lily shared a sweet post with David for their third anniversary, writing “3 years with this guy, 2nd best decision I ever made. 1st was that dress”.

We can’t help but love these two!
