Dermot Kennedy Is Determined To Make His December Shows Happen

Fans will be updated on Tuesday on how they will take place.

The Irish singer was meant to play two shows in the 3Arena on the 13th and 14th of December with all the money going to a great cause.

Recent restriction updates has put this plan in jeopardy as full capacity crowds are no longer permitted for indoor events.

Dermot took to Instagram to let fans know that he is working on a way to make this happen and he will update everyone on Tuesday.

“Hi guys, I’m just making this video to let you know that the gigs on the 13th and 14th of December are happening, they’re going ahead.

“Bare with me while I figure out the best way to do that, obviously there’s a lot of stuff to figure out so I’m going to let you know on Tuesday, when we’re going to be able to fully announce to you exactly how it’s happening, but those gigs are happening. I just wanted to keep you updated and let you know,” he said.

When announcing the shows Dermot told followers what the chosen charities meant to him, and why it’s important that he raises as much money as he can for them.

“I’m so grateful to be playing two shows in Dublin this December in aid of Pieta and Focus Ireland, two incredible charities”

Continuing, he added:

“Suicide and homelessness are two issues that are sadly so prevalent in Ireland today”

“There are so many people that badly need our help, especially at this time of year. Please think of them and let’s come together and raise as much money as we can for these extremely important causes.”

We look forward to hearing what he has planned!
