Doireann Garrihy is Joining Eoghan McDermott and Jenny Greene Returns In The 2fm Shedule Shake-Up
Great changes for some presenters, not so much for others...
There’s been a big shake-up at 2fm which is great news for some, and not so great for others.
Doireann Garrihy has joined the station as co-host of the new breakfast show with Eoghan McDermott. The pair will be on air 6am to 9am which was the previous home of Breakfast Republic with Jennifer Zamparelli, Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh.
Now, Jennifer will host her own talk show from 12pm to 3pm on weekdays, while Keith will move to weekends, and Bernard will depart the station to focus on TV.
Jenny Greene is set to return to the station after all, following her previous announcement that she would leave in March. She’ll now have her own show on weekdays from 3pm while Nicky Byrne is off doing his Westlife reunion.
Tracy Clifford will continue her lunch time music show, making it a pretty solid station for female voices.
