Ed Sheeran Announces The Arrival Of Their Baby Girl: ‘We Are So In Love’

Only a couple of weeks ago, we learned the news that Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn were expecting their first child. The pair were very sneaky about the affair, and kept it all very hush hush during lockdown. Now, he has announced the news that their baby girl has arrived.

Cherry gave birth to their daughter last week, and Ed reveals both mum and baby are thriving. Taking to social media, the singer said, “A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share.

“Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter Lyra Antartica Seaborn Sheeran.”

He added, “We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we’re on cloud nine over here.”

Ed and Cherry tied the knot during an incredibly private ceremony in winter 2018.

In a bid to keep their big day as private as possible, it’s thought they had only 40 guests in attendance, as they celebrated with their nearest and dearest.
