'They call us boring. They call us beige. They say we’re the nice guys.'

As any Harry Potter fan knows, Hufflepuffs tend to get a bad rap.

Yes, Robert Pattinson added some sex appeal to the yellow-clad, kind-hearted Hufflepuff house when he took on the role of Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter franchise, but aside from that, the Hogwarts house been vastly underrepresented.

That’s all about to change though, thanks to the tireless work of Eddie Redmayne, who stars as Newt Scamander in the new Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. Not only is Newt a proud Hufflepuff, but so is Eddie, and he’s making it his mission to ease the plight of his fellow brethren.

So invested is Eddie that he’s even recorded this public service announcement on behalf of himself and his fellow celebrity Hufflepuffs, among them Dwayne Johnson, oddly enough.

To quote Eddie: “You know what I see in Hufflepuffs? I see loyalty. I see fierce friendship. We are hardworking, we are compassionate, and at the end of the day, we’re going to do the right thing, and not because of the glory. Not because of the glory, but for the greater good.”

WORD.
