Ellie Goulding Is An Unexpected Hero After A Road Collision

The collision was pretty crazy.

In an unexpected turn of events, Ellie Goulding was one of few people who stepped up to help after a freak accident in London. In a video doing the Twitter rounds, it shows a Royal Mail truck pushing another car sideways on the front grill and bumper, on one of the busiest dual carriageways in London. This is all while other cars are trying to get the driver’s attention, for him to stop.

Ellie was driving alongside the truck, while her chauffeur Guy tried to get the driver’s attention, as well as the other cars which were beeping. The driver of the truck was presumably so high up that he couldn’t see that he was dragging the other car.

Ellie revealed on her Instagram Stories that she was the one checking the driver was okay. ‘Was just sent this,’ she wrote on her Instagram story, sharing a screenshot of the article. ‘I’m the one in the car checking if this guy is ok – craziest thing I’ve ever seen on the road. Everyone was just driving past but my driver Guy stopped.’

There was thankfully no injuries, but Ellie couldn’t believe that people were quicker to film the incident, rather than checking if the people involved were okay. ‘I can’t believe the first instinct of the other drivers who got out was to instantly start filming on their phones and shout abuse at the poor shocked driver,’ she continued. ‘Not even checking the other driver was ok’.
