Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
Happy Hayu InstaStar week!
It’s the end of the week, and we’ve had a few things on the brain.
This is them.
… Obsessions with oat
Look, I’m not a vegan, nor am I dairy intolerant. But I love oat drinks.
They’re delicious, it comes in a cute carton, and it stays fresh in the fridge for a whole lot longer than regular milk.
And it seems that I’m not the only one. Oatly’s latest blind taste test research reveals that a whopping 58% of cow’s milk drinkers in Ireland prefer Oatly in their coffee.
I mean, it checks out. Oatly (have you tried the Barista one yet? Wow), is rich in calcium, vitamins B12 and D, and low in salt saturated fats. It also has a considerably lower environmental impact compared to cow’s milk.
You can’t go wrong, really.
… Versatile tan remover
Look, I’m not a self tanner either. I don’t do tanning Thursday (unless it’s on a beach), and I wouldn’t be big on serums or mousses.
But that doesn’t mean that I can’t get in on some of Bare By Vogue’s tanning products, and still use them on my skin.
The brand’s Express Tan Removal Gel allows self tanners to remove tan easily without scrubbing… but it also allows me to add a little something to be showering experience.
Packed full of aloe vera and glycerin, it leaves skin feeling soft, nourished, and smelling *amazing* – whether you’re using tan or not.
… Many Multiples

There’s just something about a beauty product that can be used for a whole load of things that gets me going.
Versatile, handy, and perfect to pop in your tote bag while you’re out and about, the days of lugging an entire makeup bag around town are gone (well, almost).
NARS Multiples have been around for a long time – the iconic stick that can be used for eyes, lips, and cheeks, has long been a staple of the beauty scene, and with a whole new range of colours, there’ll be no stopping you.
I’ve been using shades Behave and Hot Take the past few weeks, and they’re just gorgeous. The smooth, creamy formula is a dream to use, and the vibrant shades have given me a pop of colour I didn’t know I needed. Stun.
… Whiskey… on the go
Festival season may be over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy an en route beverage from time to time.
Foxes Bow Whiskey this year released a seriously innovative drink – the Foxes Bow Pouch.
It’s a Hip Flask reimagined, designed for all the places whiskey belongs, but glass doesn’t. Plus it comes in a cute little pouch that you can sling over your shoulder or pop in your bag.
How cute!
Patrick is loving… The Taphouse Ranelagh’s fresh new vibe
Some of Team STELLAR and VIP headed to The Taphouse, Ranelagh for a recent birthday celebration, and it turned out to be the ultimate spot for food, drinks, and a bit of fun. Fresh from its recent revamp, the space feels like the best of both worlds – warm and buzzy downstairs, sleek and social upstairs.
We sat out on the terrace for dinner (the dream spot on a sunnier evening) and kicked things off with guac and tortilla chips before diving into the new small plates menu. The refreshed menu has been created by Chef Gavyn O’Sullivan and is inspired by international flavours and seasonal Irish produce.
Designed to be shared, it constantly rotates, with new dishes introduced every 8-12 weeks. The standouts for us? The giant mozzarella stick, the spicy cod fish tacos, the crispy buttermilk chicken burger, and of course the margaritas which were a little too moreish. We ended with a few sweet treats including the whipped cheesecake, which was the perfect birthday treat.
Then it was time for the karaoke booth. With its extensive song list, we couldn’t resist a few Wicked numbers – thankfully the soundproofing kept our efforts from the rest of the bar! The booth itself is available to hire from €35 an hour, making it an ideal addition for any celebration.
Between the food, cocktails, terrace, and karaoke, The Taphouse’s revamp has nailed it. You can check out the full new menu now plus booking details at Taphouse.ie.
