Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

We got you!

This week the weather has been a little more humid and a lot less sunny, but that’s not about to change our summery moods. From pink lemonade, to purest chocolate to handmade cards, we’re enjoying all the little things life has to offer.

Let’s take a look at everything Team STELLAR is loving this week.

Jade is loving… Food (what’s new?)

Particularly food that I can have delivered directly to my home in little to no time at all.

This week, JustEat announced their food delivery report to mark 15 years operating in Ireland (and they sent Team STELLAR some delicious cupcakes to celebrate).

Apparently, consumers spend an average of €46.69 on takeaways monthly and order a takeaway approximately 2.9 times per month.

It’s a little higher than that for me personally. Don’t judge.

Megan is loving… A Meath Street treat

If you live in Dublin, and even better if you’re in D8, you’ve got to try Bakeology on Meath Street.

It has amazing cakes, and sweet treats, but even if you’re more of a savoury fan like me, they have incredible empanadas and cheesy pastries. They’re on Deliveroo too so you’ve no excuse not to try them!

Aoife is loving… Handmade cards

I love giving a good handmade card. There’s something about taking the time to create something I think my friends will love that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I like to use my old STELLAR mags from years ago to make collages, and even though they’re always a bit clumsy and scrappy, I think it’s the thought that counts. Plus, it’s super sustainable, yay!

Lorna is loving…  Barely there make-up

I don’t know what it is but I’m just not a fan of a full face of make-up anymore. Half the time I’ve got it sweated off by the end of the day/night anyway, so I gave up on anything more than liquid blush, cream bronzer (the milk make-up sculpt stick is a fave!) some concealer and brown mascara.

It just manages to give you that put together look (yes I’m talking getting rid of the dark undereye circles). It’s made my life so much easier taking 5 minutes to dot a little across my face in the morning and not spending an hour sculpting and contouring to the gods only for it to melt off.

I’m totally here for this look.

Jade is loving… Chocolate (in its purest form)

Have you ever indulged in ceremonial cacao? If not, you best get on it.

The cacao may give off a hot chocolate vibe, but it’s so much more than that. In fact, it has the potential to naturally enhance physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Irish brand Magic Earth Cacao boasts 100% ceremonial-grade cacao traditionally handmade by indigenous communities, maintaining all the benefits of the cacao fruit in its most potent form.

This makes it incredibly different to classic, super-processed chocolate – and is even better than ‘organic’ cacao that’s not ‘ceremonial’ grade. Sign us up!

Megan is loving… Lucozade Zero – Pink Lemonade

I LOVE pink lemonade, and usually buy the fancy, pricey glass bottles. I’ve been converted to the Lucozade Zero Pink Lemonade.

I’m not really a coffee gal, so it’s mny current summery drink.

Aoife is loving… BPerfect Eyeshadow

I’ll admit it – I’ve always played it safe with my eye make-up. I’ve turned a blind eye to every expiry date and used the same boring brown shadow for years. Well, not anymore! Enter, the BPerfect Gravity eyeshadow palette.

Suddenly I’m that girl who has intense silver glitter up to her brows or a sage green swept out to her temples. You’re talking to a changed woman!

I’m not hyperbolising; it’s creamy, blendable and seriously pigmented. There’s intense metallic shimmers and cool mattes that I find super flattering and easy to play with. Here’s to being in my experimental era!

Lorna is loving… Hockey romance reads

My favourite romance author is Elle Kennedy. I read two of her books last year and fell in love with the setting and the character development.

I’ve a big love for reading physical books so when I was in the US, I bought every Elle Kennedy book I could get my hands on so I could continue my deep dive into the Briar University hockey boys. Garrett Graham will have you wishing for a hockey boy for the rest of your life!

Elle is releasing a brand new book in October called the Graham Effect which focuses on Garrett Graham’s daughter Gigi as she makes her way through the same Briar campus her father did.

Megan is loving… Penneys!

I love a big spacious Penneys! The company recently opened a new store on the third floor of Dundrum Town Centre, which is bigger and better than the previous store – it’s a dream!

It’s also got a vintage section with WornWell so you can shop thrifty bits while you’re there too!
