Everything We Know About Taylor & Travis’ Wedding – Including Bridesmaids!

Taylor Swift and Travis Scott are getting married – in case you weren’t aware.

With each passing week, we learn a little bit more on what to expect from Hollywood’s biggest upcoming nuptials.

From the bridal party to the location to the dress, here’s everything we know so far about the big day… including some of our own predictions.

The proposal

On the 26th of August, Taylor and Travis took to Instagram to announce their engagement with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” To no one’s surprise, the post amassed over 35 million likes – making it safe to say that we’re all going to tuned in when it comes to the upcoming wedding celebration.

The gorgeous floral proposal, which caught Taylor by a complete surprise, was set up in Kelce’s garden while the couple were filming an episode for the New Heights Podcast. Taylor shared that Travis went “all out” and even had her Eras Tour photographer hidden in the bushes to capture the moment!

The topic of discussion was of course the one-of-a-kind antique cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, which is said to be between 7 and 13 carats and worth over half a million dollars!

Who will Taylor’s bridesmaids be?

Maybe Taylor’s tendency to drop hints and share clues goes beyond her music releases? Many Swifties believe that Taylor’s recent dinner outings alongside certain A-list celebrities subtly plays a part in revealing her bridesmaid lineup.

Given that Taylor was spotted dining with the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Gigi Hadid and her close friend Ashley Avignone –  it’s theorised this array of appearances are no coincidence. In fact, close sources to Taylor have shared with the US Sun that Hadid and Selena Gomez are reportedly confirmed to have made the cut as part of the bridal party.

Wedding venue?

Although the official wedding venue and date have yet to be revealed, that doesn’t mean that rumours haven’t been spiralling! Many suspect that the wedding will take place close to Taylor’s 2013 Watch Hill seaside estate on Rhode Island, or in the 70-room mansion, The Breakers, in Newport.

Sources from US Weekly have noted that the couple don’t want a long engagement, so we can probably expect the wedding to take place not too far down the line. It’s even believed by some that Swift and Kelce are eyeing a summer 2026 wedding, with a theorised date being the 13th of June, in alignment with Taylor’s love for numerology.

Ceremony details…

According to sources close to the couple, the wedding won’t be much of a public spectacle.

That’s not to say that this event won’t be huge though. On her recent appearance on the Graham Norton Show, Taylor joked that “anyone [she’s] ever talked to” would be getting the invite – seemingly sparing no expense when it comes to the guest list.

However, sources have since challenged these claims, sharing that the wedding will be a private affair, with simply a close-knit circle in attendance.

The dress

Of course we have no idea what dress Taylor will wear as she walks down the aisle, but based on her tendency to wear fairytale-esque gowns on the stage and the red carpet, we’re certain her bridal look won’t disappoint.

Based on Taylor’s past looks, we predict an A-line dress with a sweetheart or scoop neckline, similar to that of her Eras Tour gowns. In terms of extravagant designers who have recently worked with Taylor, her gown could be designed by Roberto Cavalli, Reem Acra, Elie Saab, Vivienne Westwood, Schiaparelli or Alberta Ferretti.

Given that a lot of designers would jump at this opportunity to design the dress, our expectations should be set very high – for both the gown and the budget!

While the official and finer details of this renowned celebrity wedding are currently unknown, we’re sure this enchanting event will be nothing short of a storybook celebration – and we can’t wait till we know more!
