Everything We Know About The New Zendaya & Robert Pattinson Film

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are starring in a new movie together.

No, it’s not Dune, though they are also in that. No, it’s not The Odyssey, though they are also in that together too.

This is The Drama – and although we only currently have a poster, a vague synopsis, and a perfectly placed ad to go by, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of next year.

Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, The Drama tells the story of a “happily engaged couple,” whose relationship is “put to the test when an unexpected revelation sends their wedding week off the rails.”

The film also stars Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, Michael Abbott Jr., Hailey Gates, and Sydney Lemmon among others who will appear in this largely under wraps movie, set to land next April.

One thing we do know is that A24 love a little marketing stunt… and they’ve absolutely nailed it here.

The poster for The Drama, which shows Zendaya showing off her massive rock while R-Patz wears a pair of glasses and has his mouth agape, was published in The Boston Globe to promote the film, as if it was a real engagement announcement.

The ad reveals that Zendaya’s character is named Emma Harwood and Robert’s is Charlie Thompson. Emma works for a book publisher and Charlie, a Londoner, is the director of an art museum.

The ad details that the couple are due to wed on April 3, 2026 – the day The Drama is set for release.

This isn’t the only film Zendaya and Pattinson are starring in together next year. They will both appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and the final Dune movie.

It’s safe to say we will be sat.
