Where?

Every year the iconic festival is held at the Empire Polo club in the Colorado Desert. It’s a two hour drive from LA, making it a content creator’s playground. Notorious for its sandy location, the festival recommends guests wear face coverings and sunglasses to protect from the deserts elements. ( I’m not sure about you, but this does not sound as glamorous as Insta makes it seem.)

Headliners:

This year’s lineup boasts some of the biggest names in the music industry, with one of the most unexpected headliners being Frank Ocean. Having not released an album since 2016, fans were shocked when it was announced he would be headlining this year’s Coachella. Could this mean there’s finally new music on the way?!

BLACKPINK will be headlining on the Saturday which we know will be a great show, and latin music lovers will be thrilled to know reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny will be the Sunday headliner and Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía will also be performing.

Other acts across the weekend include Calvin Harris, Gorillaz, boygenius, Charli XCX and Blondie, to name a few.

Star studded attendees:

Of course, no Coachella experience would be complete without rubbing elbows with some of your favourite celebs.

Who can forget when Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted dancing to MGMT back in 2014, as well as Vanessa Hudgens’ iconic flower crown.

This year, we can hope to see the usual suspects, like Kendall Jenner and the entire Hadid clan. Even Kourtney Kardashian is predicted to make an appearance after it was announced her brand Poosh is hosting an event.

Who knows, maybe the Queen Beyoncé will grace us with her presence, anything is possible at Coachella!

What we can expect?

Let’s not forget about the mouth watering food trucks and that carnival atmosphere that makes Coachella so unique. From neon-lit Ferris wheels to massive art installations that double as Instagram backdrops, there’s no shortage of things to see and do between sets.

Unfortunately, the majority of us won’t be attending Coachella and instead will have to deal with the fomo fuelled pics. But we will be glued to our feeds to see what trends will be inspiring our own festival looks for this year.

If you don’t want to miss out you can still live stream the festival.

Coachella has partnered up with Youtube to deliver a high quality live stream capturing all the iconic onstage performances, making us feel like we are really there.
