Filming Halted For ‘The Batman’ As Robert Pattinson Reportedly Tests Positive For Covid-19

Filming had only just resumed on The Batman before being shut down again.

Earlier this week The Rock revealed that he and his family had all had Covid-19, and now it seems Robert Pattinson is the latest celeb to have a positive diagnosis.

Pattinson is currently filming for his latest blockbuster, in which he will play Batman, but this has now been halted.

Warner Bros released a statement saying; “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols.”

Although their statement did not reveal who on the team had received the positive diagnosis, Vanity Fair and some “highly placed sources” confirmed the person in question was Robert Pattinson.

Filming for the upcoming movie has been “temporarily paused” to halt any potential spread of the virus.

Shooting had only just resumed on the latest remake of Batman before having to shut down a few days later. The movie was originally due to be released in June 2021, but because of delays to filming has been pushed back to October 2021.

It has not yet been confirmed if it will now be pushed back further.
