First Look At Jenna Ortega In The Beetlejuice Sequel

Jenna Ortega in Beetlejuice! How did we get so lucky?

Get ready to Jump In The Line as a Beetlejuice sequel is coming our way.

Yep the scary bio-exorcist will be returning to the silver screen and this time with Jenna Ortega by his side.

The Wednesday star joined the film alongside OG Beetlejuice stars such as Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice himself.

Jenna will be playing the daughter of original character Lydia Deetz, played by Winona. The film is currently shooting in Hertfordshire, England, and we just got a glimpse at the stars in character.

Jenna was decked out as a bride in puffy white wedding dress layered with pink and lavender tulle. Which was paired with a veil and white boots.

Plus we also got a glimpse at the groom, as Jenna was captured arm-in-arm with co-star Filipe Cates, who wore a black tuxedo with a black bowtie for the occasion.

Needless to these shots have got us hyped for the film, but unfortunately we have a WHILE to wait!

Beetlejuice 2 is set to be released on the 6th of September 2024.

Much like the original, Beetlejuice’s sequel will be directed by Tim Burton.

This will be Jenna’s second time working with the legendary director, as the pair collaborated on Netflix’s Wednesday last year.

Speaking about working with the iconic director, Jenna told Interview magazine: “I remember Tim being really wonderful about things like that and calling me to his trailer in the mornings and saying, ‘What are you uncomfortable saying? What do you want to say?'”

“When you have supportive collaborators like Tim, it makes it a lot easier. There were a couple people like that on set who were my rocks, for sure.”
