Five New Openings In Dublin To Check Out This Weekend

Alexa, play Heatwave by Wiley.

We’re in for one glorious weekend. Not only is the weather absolutely cracking and set to continue right throughout the weekend (erm, to be expected in July, but anyways), we’re also seeing businesses come alive again, from retail to hospitality.

Yes, there’s no denying how nice it is to see the streets busy again and so, to celebrate the return of some “normality” we’re shouting out to some new businesses opening up in Dublin. Perfect for checking out this weekend if you’re in and around town, these are the places to put on your radar now so you can be the friend that says ‘hey, I was one of first to try out this place,’ in months to come.

Each week, we’ll be focusing on a different city with Cork on the cards for next week, but for now, here’s where to check out in the capital this weekend.

1. Duchess on Duke St

Beauty salon Duchess on Duke Street has officially opened its doors, adorned with beautiful pink marble, neon signs and flowers.

Offering everything from manicures and pedicures, to eyelash extensions, spray tans, this is the perfect one-stop-shop for a girls day out, or a pamper hour in between shopping.

Duchess On Duke St is located on 20 Duke Street and is open every day for bookings and walk ins from 9.30am – 6pm.

2. Los Chicanos

Another delicious addition to the Dublin food scene, this delish taco truck has rolled right into our lives, providing delicious Mexican food in centre of Dublin, just off the bustling Camden St.

We’re talking divine sausage, fish, lamb or veggie tacos, with sides and drinks to choose from, as well as dessert. Open Thursday to Sunday.

3. Camden Yard

Running with the Camden Street theme here, if you’re looking for somewhere near the taco truck on Camden Row to continue on your food expedition, the Camden Yard will certainly tickle your taste buds.

With a variety of food trucks, seating, and simply a good place to kick back and celebrate another working week done, the Camden Yard located in the courtyard of the Camden Court Hotel is your place to go.

Open from 5pm – 9pm every Friday.

4. Get A Drip

Get A Drip works by administering essential vitamins directly into the body’s system, allowing for better absorption of the nutrients compared to oral consumption.

From booster shots to drips for your hair health, energy and hydration, this is really worth checking out. You can see more here.
