Gemma Owen Signs Six-Figure Deal With Major Fashion Brand

Gemma seems to be following in the footsteps of former Islander Molly-Mae Hague who has worked with PrettyLittleThing a lot since her time in the villa and has since gone on to become the creative director of the company.

CEO of PLT Umar Kamani said, “Gemma is the perfect person to represent the PLT consumer; she’s smart, confident, ambitious and has a much loved, relatable style.

“We’re very excited to have her joining the PLT family and look forward to sharing lots of exciting content, collections, and shoots with our customers.”

PLT shared the news on Instagram writing, “IT’S OFFICIAL 😍💕 Welcome to the PLT family @gemowen_1 ✨ We can’t wait to show everyone what we’re working on…👀”

The deal is reportedly a year-long contract during which she will release collections with the brand and create content for the brand on YouTube TikTok and Instagram.

Gemma will also be involved in PLT Marketplace, the companies new platform that encourages customers to sell their old clothes making a move towards sustianable fashion.

Gemma isn’t the only Islander who has signed a major deal this year her fellow Islander Tasha Ghouri signed a major deal with Ebay who sponsored the clothes on this year’s show.
