Gino D’Acampo Has Hit Back At Trolls Who Say His Relationship With His Daughter Is ‘Weird’

Never one to bite his tongue, Gino D’Acampo has responded to the trolls who called the close relationship he has with his daughter ‘weird’.

Back in November, TV Chef Gino shared a picture of himself in bed cuddling with his 7-year-old daughter Mia.

Captioning the sweet snap Gino said: “Morning cuddles with my little Mia, best feeling in the world.”

But, as is somewhat customary with social media, the snap sparked a series of backlash, as people claimed it was ‘weird’ to cuddle your daughter topless in bed.

 

Giving the trolls a run for their money, Gino has just hit back at any hate the picture received by posting a video of himself and his daughter, where they discuss their thoughts on people branding their relationship as strange.

In the quick clip Gino explains to his daughter:

“Last time I put a picture of me and you in bed giving kisses and cuddles a lot of people, they thought it was weird.

“I thought it was nice because we were cuddling and I love you so much.”

Mia promptly asks her dad why they ‘think it was weird?’ To which Gino replies “I don’t know, they are the weird ones, nothing wrong with daughter and daddy cuddling in bed right?”

When asked what message she would like to give these people, Mia responded with the only gesture we deem appropriate and stuck up her middle finger to the camera, g’wan.

Fans and followers of the chef quickly took to the comments section to show their solidarity, with one saying:

“Completely agree girl. Nothing wrong with cuddling your dad as long as you want, it’s precious moments you’ll never forget.”

“What a sad society, when a loving Dad can’t spend normal quality time with his daughter.” Another commented.
