It’s been seven years since Glee came to an end and pretty much ever since the last episode aired, fans have all had the same question on their mind — was this really the end?

Now don’t get us wrong, the show had a great run but after 121 episodes and over 729 music performances, the series concluded on March 20, 2015, leaving gleeks all around the world devastated.

So, when Kevin Mchale who played Artie Abrams in the hit series was asked if he thought there would ever be a Glee reboot, sadly the actor wasn’t so sure.

Revealing to E! News, “I don’t know if that would ever happen as a TV show or a reboot-type thing. Well, you know, until Ryan Murphy says so.”

Having said that, Kevin ensures that he and many of his former castmates are still the best of friends, sharing, “We all grew up together. We grew up doing this really insane and unique thing.”

The actor was just 21 years old when he got his starring role in Glee back in 2009 and explained that going through such a pop culture whirlwind — especially on a show that meant so much to so many different people — bonded the group of young actors intrinsically.

Adding, “It wasn’t even just shooting a TV show together. It was a TV show that became weirdly successful all over the world for different groups of people who didn’t normally have something like this on network TV.”

STILL, not all hope is lost on a possible revival of the show folks as just last year, the president of Fox Entertainment, Michael Thorn shared how he would “love to do more” of the groundbreaking musical series.

“We always welcome celebrating our iconic shows and revisiting those with surprising takes and new approaches so, especially in this crowded market, we’re always open to reinventing our best IP with some of our favourite partners,” he added.

Hmmm, looks like only time will tell on this one!
