Good News! Too Hot To Handle Season 3 Is Happening

If you’re anything like us you’ll have already binged your way through Netflix reality series Too Hot To Handle season two.

Season two saw a belter of a series, with rule break after rule break recorded. While we now have Love Island to occupy our time with for now, we’re already looking to the end of summer and anticipating the heartbreak we’re going to feel when all of our fave shows are over.

But we need not fret too much, as a third series of THTH has been confirmed – and rumour has it it’s even already been filmed.

“The secret is out—we’re thrilled to bring back Too Hot to Handle for two new seasons in a tropical paradise” Brandon Riegg a vice president at Netflix told Variety. 

Here’s what we know so far.

Has season 3 been filmed? 

Although Netflix are yet to offically confirm or deny this news, but, after chatting with Brandon, Variety reckon that filming for season 3 was underway at the same time as season 2 in 2020.

Season one of the show was filmed in Mexico, while season two saw a v glam villa rented in Turks and Caicos, so we would imagine that the third season will take us someplace different, but equally as swoon-worthy.

Who was cast?

Again, even though we have confirmation that a third season is incoming, who exactly we will be seeing on our screens is being kept under wraps. Given the rumour that the third season has been filmed, we’re assuming that there’s a good chance that the cast has already been sorted, with the choosing process happening at the same time as season two.

When can we see it? 

Sadly, we don’t have an answer for this one yet. Going off the last two seasons which were released a year apart, we may have another while to wait as season two was released just last month. However, we’re hopeful that Netflix are feeling geneours given the trauma we’ve endured this last year, so here’s hoping that they’ll give us another reality TV treat before the year is up!
