Hey blind item readers, we have some news for you.

It looks like your favourite modern day Gossip Girl is in talks to get their own television series, based on their upcoming novel.

If you don’t know what DeuxMoi is, here’s the lowdown. DeuxMoi is a gossip page on Instagram that posts blind items about celebrities. Blind items are anonymous tips sent into or written by gossip websites, where the identities of those involved are kept anonymous, although hints within sometimes spell out who is who and the odd time there are names. “Gossip Girl here”, has been replaced with the request “Anon please” as the tips come flooding in from just as mysterious sources with just as scathing content.

You can go there to see who’s been spotted and where and what the rumour mill is alleging this week. It’s highly addictive, but has to be taken with a pinch of salt as the site clearly states, “Statements made on this account have not been independently confirmed. this account does not claim any information published is based in fact.”

Celebrities are known to keep up with the site too with Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa among its 1.5 million followers, as well as Kim Kardashian who admits to reading the blinds on her finsta (fake Instagram).

With a podcast, a novel, merch and now a possible TV series the page is continuing to blow up fast, and the person behind it still remains anonymous.

According to E! News HBO Max has ordered a script to series adaption of DeuxMoi’s novel Anon Pls which is set for release in November. This means that if the execs like the script the show will go ahead without a pilot process. Wow.

The publisher described the plot of the novel saying, “Cricket Lopez, assistant to one of the most notorious celebrity stylists, revamps her old style Instagram account and turns it into a celebrity gossip blog on a drunken whim…She never thinks it will become anything.

“But when the account grows overnight and, even wilder, when she starts getting gossip from fans—juicy gossip—she has to face facts: her Instagram is now famous. She is now famous.” Art imitating life?

We can already see the series being a hit, hopefully the script is a runner and we can all sit back and enjoy trying to guess who the plotlines are loosely based off…
