Gwyneth Paltrow is a girls girl. How do we know?

Because the famous actress has nothing but praise for her ex husband’s girlfriend. We love to see women supporting each other!

Gwyneth was married to the lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, for ten years before they split in 2014. They share a daughter, Apple, who is 19 and a son, Moses, who is 17.

In 2017, Chris began dating 50 Shades Of Grey star Dakota Johnson – and Gwyneth has nothing but “love” for her.

Chatting on her Instagram stories last week, Gwyneth said that her and Dakota are “actually very good friends.”

This may have surprised fans, who might think you wouldn’t be too fond of your ex partners new boo.

But Gwyneth went on to wax lyrical about Dakota, describing her as, “an adorable, wonderful person.

“I love her so much.” How sweet is that?

This isn’t the first time Gwyneth has gushed over Dakota. In a 2020 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Goop founder addressed her relationship with Dakota.

“I can see how it would seem weird because it’s sort of unconventional,” she said, “but I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her.

Speaking of their connection through Chris, she added, “I always start to think of the ampersand sign — what else can you bring in, instead of being resistant to or being made insecure by?”

The feeling is clearly mutual, as last year Dakota told Vanity Fair that based on her own experience with separated parents, she’s keen to have people be “cool” with one another.

She told the publication of her current relationship with Gwyneth and her and Chris’ children, “It’s better to be kind, and it’s also really nice that everybody actually really loves each other and has each other’s backs.”
