Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been through it.
The 32 year old spent years in prison after being charged with her mother’s murder, a story many of you will probably recognise from the TV series adaptation of her story starring Joey King.
Joey portrayed the true story of Gypsy Rose, who did in fact conspire to kill her mother with her boyfriend at the time.

However, Gypsy’s motives for having her mother murdered were complex – leading to an extraordinary amount of support for the young woman when she was sentenced to prison, and eventually granting her release.
Now, fans of the fascinating woman are hooked to Gypsy Rose’s social media accounts, where she’s showing off her brand new life since her release from jail just last week.

For those of you who don’t know Gypsy’s background; her mother Dee Dee had Münchausen Syndrome by Proxy. This is a mental illness and form of child abuse where a caretaker or parent makes a child sick on purpose.
Until her teenage years, Gypsy Rose believed she was seriously ill. She took several medications which made her increasingly more unhealthy, had her head regularly shaved, used a wheelchair, and even took food through a tube.

After a horrific childhood and failed attempts from doctors at the hospitals she was treated to raise alarm bells, Gypsy Rose took matters into her own hands when she discovered the truth.
We’re delighted to see that Gypsy Rose will be getting some semblance of normality, and the ability to live a happy and fulfilled life with her husband!
