Harry Styles Says He Probably Won’t Do Another Movie For A While

Harry Styles has definitely made the transition into budding movie star pretty seamlessly, with two films out this year and his Marvel debut outside of a post-credit scene still pending, we’d believe him if he told us he was going into acting full time. But actually, it’s quite the opposite.

According to Harry in a new Rolling Stone interview, his time on the silver screen might be over for the time being. He explained, “I don’t imagine I’d do a movie for a while…

“[W]hen you’re making music, something’s happening. It feels really creative, and it feeds stuff. A large part of acting is the doing nothing, waiting thing. Which if that’s the worst part, then it’s a pretty good job. But I don’t find that section of it to be that fulfilling. I like doing it in the moment, but I don’t think I’ll do it a lot.”

Although he hasn’t totally ruled out returning to Hollywood saying, “I think there’ll be a time again when I’ll crave it.”

The interviewer asked if he was involved in an upcoming Star Wars picture, based on rumours that had previously swirled, but the Watermelon Sugar singer debunked the story, “That’s the first I’ve heard of that. I’d imagine… false,” he said.

Although acting isn’t the first thing on his mind at the moment, Harry does reportedly have a big part to play in upcoming Marvel flicks after making an appearance as Thanos’ brother Eros in a post credit scene of Eternals.

When producer Kevin Feige was asked by MTV news if fans will see more of Harry in another MCU film soon, he had one thing to say, “Yes”.

So, not to worry Harry fans, he can’t be off our screens for too long, but while he’s away we can always watch his music videos! Win, win!
