Has Lewis Capaldi Just ‘Found’ Long-Lost Scottish Singer Paolo Nutini?

Can confirm - he's still a ride

So, last week Lewis Capaldi tweeted:

And the tweet has gone on to spark worldwide outrage. Paolo has been inactive on Instagram since August of last year, and it has been a whole six years since the crooner released an album.

Liked by over 100,000 people and re-tweeted a further 13,000 times, long-lost Paolo Nutini has finally been tracked down.

Spotting the public outcry for Paolo to be found, The Edinburgh Bookshop stepped in to let fans know that he is indeed, safe and sound.

The bookshop posted a picture of the singer at his hometown Paisley’s Book Festival earlier this week.

While the post did confirm that Paolo’s still a handsome divil, it didn’t confirm if he’s planning on releasing new music anytime soon.

Getting in on the hype, as they always do, Paddy Power has also revealed odds of him releasing new music in 2020, coming in 8/1 – but we’re not getting our hopes up and putting any money on it just yet.

Now that Lewis has helped to track down Paolo, fans (and we) are hoping that the two might just partner up to give us the ultimate Scottish collaboration we all need.

This isn’t the first time the two have encountered one another, however, as Paolo recently bought Lewis’s Chewbacca mask from TRNSMT festival for 10k.

Sounds weird, yes, but the act was actually in aid of Tiny Chances mental health charity, and all proceeds went to them.

Good man, Paolo. Now give us some new tunes.
