Heather Rae Young Addresses Her Future On Selling Sunset

Selling Sunset has gone through some major changes, most notably everyone’s favourite villain Christine Quinn leaving the series.

Yep, she packed her bags after starting her own brokerage, and although she originally claimed to still be appearing on the show as a rival brokerage, Selling Sunset confirmed Christine wouldn’t be back on our screens.

But Christine is far from the only in demand realtor, as Heather Rae Young has also started up a rival project. Starring in her own real estate reality show, with hubby Tarek El Moussa, aptly named the The Flipping El Moussas.

Not to mention that the pair have just welcomed their baby boy, Tristan. So with all this, can we expect to see Heather on season six of the Selling Sunset.

Well…good news! The former model confirmed she has no plans to leave the Oppenheim Group. Telling E News!: “Since I’m on maternity leave, I’m not sure when I would be going back.”

“But I will be in season six and you will see a lot of fun things of me in there. You see the baby and the journey of the pregnancy.”

So yep Heather will still be in season six of the show, and from the sound of things, doesn’t have any plans to leave.

But due to her maternity leave, we might be seeing less of Heather in season seven. But hey, hopefully she make a brief appearance, and bring baby Tristan into the office to meet the gals.

Opening up about life as a new mum, the 34-year-old confessed she isn’t thinking about anything else but her son at the moment.

Explaining: “”I am just awake all the time.”

“Like every little noise, every little thing. I’m up at like 5:20 in the morning. Is the baby awake, does it need to eat? I’m breastfeeding and I’m also pumping. I try to eat when I can and rock the baby to sleep. So my life is kind of in sweats right now.”

Heather and Tarek welcomed their baby boy at the end of January.

Opting for the name Tristan Jay,  as Tarek was originally supposed to be name Tristan, while Jay was Heather’s dad’s middle name.

Sharing news of their son’s birth on Instagram, they posted a sweet snap of themselves in the hospital room. Captioning their post: “The day our whole world changed 1.31.23”
