Here’s All The Bits Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
From spooky scares to soothing yoga...
Autumn is well and truly upon us, and Halloween is right around the corner!
That means we’re busy activating ‘fall girl’ mode; with more cups of tea than usual floating around the office, the sudden arrival of woolly scarves, and an increased interest in rewatching Gilmore Girls…
From spooky scares to calming yoga, and the magic of New York City this time of year, here’s all the bits we’re loving.

If there’s an activity more relaxing than some early morning yoga (by candle light, nonetheless), we’d love to hear about it.
Three and yogahub have just announced a new offer for Three+ customers who will have access to a free 3 month subscription to yogahub’s online studio.
They can also avail of a free candle lit yoga class on October 7th in Dublin’s Chocolate Factory – stunning.
Aoife is loving… BIAB
Once upon a time, I was a chronic nail biter. I spent years getting acrylics and gel nails in an attempt to solve my affliction, which just left my nails brittle and sad. Then, my amazing nail artist (@nailsby.kb_ on Instagram) introduced me to BIAB.
It stands for Builder In A Bottle; and yes, it does what it says on the tin. A strengthening gel that helps your nails to grow healthy and long, it still gives you that polished fake nail look – but it’s all real, baby!
I seriously can’t get over the fact that these are my nails. Sure, it took a while to grow them out initially, as the BIAB doesn’t add any length, but it was so worth it. If you’ve got nails bitten down to the knuckle; trust me. You have to try this. I’m a new woman!
Lorna is loving… New York Trips
If you’ve been to New York then you know the feeling. The absolute magic you feel arriving and wandering the streets, it’s completely unbeatable, at least in my experience. Let me tell you, New York during the festive season is a whole other ball game.
Colder weather, warmer clothes, hot chocolates, Christmas lights, ice skating there’s just a never ending list of fun things to do. Check out nyctourism.com for a great guide to festive markets, activities and shows to take in during the lead up to Christmas.
I’m headed back for the tenth time in a few weeks and I’m so excited to get to see and do things that are totally new to me. I’ll be taking in The Edge at dawn, to get a stunning view of an NYC winter sunrise and I’ll also be headed to a number of museums I’ve never stepped foot inside including The Met, The Guggenheim, The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, as well as having a browse of all the shops and eating my way around the city.
New York CityPASS is a great way to see a number of attractions around the city for less. Adult tickets are priced at $138 and kids (6-17) at $118.
Jade is loving… Spooky scares
@stellarmagazine We got a sneak preview of this year’s #nightmarerealm and it did not disappoint 👻 #halloween #october #horror #fyp #spook ♬ House of Fun (2009 Remaster) – Madness
It’s almost October, and you know what that means – black cats, spooky films, and even more pumpkin spice themed things.
It also means that the Nightmare Realm is back for another year, and it’s bigger and better than ever.
Team STELLAR was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of this year’s terrifying offering, and it was incredibly impressive. See you for opening night on October 6th.

How is this so good? I was lowkey preparing for a hate watch – but it’s genuinely gas, the contestants are fun, and the concept is so enjoyable! For those of you haven’t seen it, its a reality dating show following a bunch of young, single Irish people out in the Gaeltacht as they find love, brush up on their Gaeilge, and compete to win a cash prize of €10,000.
This show has got me filled with pride for my language, and pulling out the Duolingo to give myself a refresher course!
Catch the first episode on the Virgin Media Player if you missed it!
Lorna is loving… Surviving Summer season 2
I told myself I wasn’t going to watch it … or if I was it would only be to see the supposed chemistry between Ari and Summer fizzle out.
Well, all I can say is I’m happy I tuned in. The plot is so much more dramatic and much quicker than season one. Plus, the introduction of Baxter Radic had me glued to the TV. When I say there was more chemistry between Bax and Summer in one scene, than with an entire season of Summer and Ari I mean it. I’m screaming for an endgame couple in season three.
If you’re in the mood for an easy watch, with a little bit of kicking your feet and giggling action, then you need to give Surviving Summer a watch. I’m already set to rewatch season two just for the pink haired rebel, Baxter Radic.
