Here’s Everything Khloe Kardashian Eats In A Single Day
Khloe's dished the dirt on her daily diet and exercise routine, and we've got a nutritionist's verdict.
We confess: we’re a nosey bunch at STELLAR HQ, and our interest was certainly piqued when we heard that, in her new book Strong Looks Better Naked, Khloé Kardashian reveals all on her daily eats and exercises.
Given her amazing body transformation, which she unveiled on the cover of Complex back in August, we were super interested to find out her secret. Here’s what Khloe’s having…
Khloe’s day on a plate
5:00 a.m.: I’m up bright and early and have a huge glass of water and a black coffee.
6:00 a.m.: I’m off to the gym, ready to sweat.
8:00 a.m.: Breakfast is another big glass of water, my ideal oatmeal, and a protein shake.
11:00 a.m.: I snack on an apple with peanut butter or fruit and nuts.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch is a Chinese chicken salad.
3:00 p.m.: Snack time! Homemade hummus, chopped veggies, edamame, and another big glass of water (this time infused with fruit).
7:00 p.m.: Time for dinner. I usually keep it pretty clean, and my favorite go-to is steamed veggies and fish served with my Magic Mash-Up and a glass of water, of course.
9:00 p.m.: I end my day with a bowl of fruit with plain Greek yogurt.
Sounds like health nirvana, no? We asked Dublin nutritionist Elsa Jones for her verdict.
Breakfast
Khloe gets up at 5am (fair play!) and works out for nearly two hours before she eats a single thing. “Exercising first thing in the morning on an empty stomach assists fat loss but that doesn’t mean that it will suit everyone,” Elsa cautions. “It depends on the individual, their goal, and the type and time of exercise.”
Elsa praised Khloe’s meal plans. “She appears to follow a low GI style of eating which is low in sugar and well balanced in terms of protein, healthy fats and slow release carbs” she says. Brekkie’s at 8am, and Elsa says her choices are good – “Her diet is well balanced from a nutritional standpoint and is largely made up of unprocessed, whole foods which are high in fibre, vitamins and minerals.”
Khloe’s 3pm snack – Homemade hummus, chopped veggies – gets top marks.
Lunch
So Khloe is clearly winning before she’s even touched her lunch choices at 1pm, consisting of Chinese chicken salad. So far, so good – Elsa says Khloe’s 3pm snack – Homemade hummus, chopped veggies – gets top marks.
Dinner
Once more, it’s chicken or fish and veg for Khloe come dinner time – which is usually at around 7pm. Khloe says she usually keeps it pretty clean and her fave go-to is steamed veggies and fish served with her signature cauliflower mash and a glass of H2O of course! Dinner’s a good ‘un, “Both are good lean sources of protein,” Elsa says.
