Here’s Exactly What Angelina And Brad Laid Down In Their Pre-Nup
If your combined fortune was €355m, you'd have a pre-nup too.
The world of celebrity got a shake-up last week when it was revealed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were set to divorce.
News of Angelina’s divorce filing spread last Tuesday, and while there have been multiple rumours spreading about the actual reason for the split, there is one thing we do know for certain: these two had an iron-clad pre-nuptial agreement.
Considering they had been together for a decade by the time they tied the knot in 2014, Brad and Ange had amassed quite a lot of shared assets. How much? $400m (€355m) worth, to be exact.
Among the specifics listed in the pre-nup, according to TMZ, are details of who will take hold of the deeds for the 12 properties the couple own together. Seven already belong to Brad and two to Angelina, plus there are three the couple purchased together before their 2014 marriage.

The 12 properties include a vineyard at Chateau Miraval in France, a 5228 sq ft estate in Los Feliz, California consisting of FIVE adjoining houses, a mansion in New Orleans’ French Quarter which they unsuccessfully tried to sell in May 2015, Angelina’s wildlife reserve in Cambodia and a 1,232 sq ft apartment on New York’s Upper West Side.
Of course, the splitting of the deeds will be simple compared to the real bugbear of this divorce: the custody rights to the couple’s six children.
Angelina requested sole physical custody of Maddox, Pax, Zahra, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne when filing for divorce but it’s expected Brad will strongly contest this and fight for joint custody.
TMZ refers to “multiple sources” who claim Brad’s “anger issues” and over-reliance on weed and alcohol are what led to the couple’s marriage breakdown, with Angelina growing more and more unhappy with Brad’s interactions with his children.
Here’s hoping this pair can resolve things smoothly…
