A brand new I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is right around the corner, and the casting might be one of the most interesting we’ve ever seen.

Among the celebs taking part in the show are politician Nigel Farage and actress Jamie Lynn Spears – but they aren’t the only familiar faces!

There’s plenty more recognisable contestants leaving their luxury pads to get down and dirty in the jungle – and thanks to Virgin, we’ve got the goss on all of them.

Let’s get to know the cast!

Sam Thompson

Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson is hitting up the jungle, and says he sees himself being “the court jester” of the group.

“I don’t take things too seriously, so if anyone is having a bad day I would like to put a smile on their face.” Bless.

Sam also adds that his family and influencer girlfriend Zara McDermott are excited for him to get stuck in.

From Lifted Entertainment

“My girlfriend is really happy for me, too. She is proud. We haven’t chatted too much about it in the run up as she has been doing Strictly and I haven’t wanted to make it about me.” What a gent!

As for his phobias in the jungle, Sam is most concerned about the “creepy crawlies”.

“I don’t know anyone who likes spiders. The smaller they are, the worse it is and I am a bit of a screecher. I am not a creepy crawly guy either. And I hate people/things touching my neck. Any trial involving things all over me will be pretty rank!”

We reckon you’re pretty much asking for it now, Sam!

Josie Gibson

This morning presenter Josie Gibson won’t be facing a TV audience anymore, but a real life jungle adventure.

She reckons her role in the camp will be as the “Mum.

“I am very motherly and I also love chatting to people.”

From Lifted Entertainment

While Josie admits her family are shocked that she’s going on the show considering how many jungle fears she has, she’s ready to conquer them all so she can experience the natural lifestyle!

“I am most looking forward to being at one with nature. And I hope I learn new things about myself. I hope I can push myself more than I think I can. Eating trials? I have got to try and close my eyes and not think about what it is I am eating. Heights? I don’t like heights either. To be fair, I am not liking a lot of things that the jungle throws at you but I want to give it all a go.”

Fred Siriex

Fans of First Dates will be delighted to see that TV presenter Fred Siriex is heading down under!

Speaking of his children motivating him, Fred says “I would love to make my children proud. As my son said to me recently: ‘Don’t worry daddy, there is nothing that you are going to be buried with that is going to kill you!’”

Our hearts!

Fred also admits that he’ll also miss his “super comfy” bed and a cup of coffee in the morning, but he’s not afraid of getting his hands dirty.

From Lifted Entertainment

“I will definitely muck in with all the jobs. I don’t mind cooking or cleaning the toilets.”

He adds that he’s been preparing well for the show by training hard!

“I have been training harder than I have trained in the last three or four years. I go to the gym, I go to boxing, I train like a machine – that’s my way to cope with doing I’m A Celebrity. This isn’t a 100m race. You are going in for the long haul.”

Fair play Fred!

Nigel Farage

GB News host Nigel Farage has surprised many by joining the I’m A Celeb line up.

The former politician says he intends to break down any misconceptions about him.

“I have been demonised over the years and so it will be nice to show people I am not nasty,” he says.

From Lifted Entertainment

“Given millions hate me, I do expect people will vote for me to do trials!

“I am hoping those who hate me might hate me a little bit less afterwards,” he continued. But it’s a gamble. And the idea that somehow the things I represent – mean-spirited, small-minded, nasty, the ‘little Englander’ – all those accusations that have been flung at me over the years just aren’t true. If we can dispel some of those misconceptions, then that will be a good thing too.”

He also mentions a fear of rats, snakes and heights, and says aside from his family he’ll most miss a pint in the pub.

We can relate to that, at least!

Jamie Lynn Spears

Jamie Lynn is another addition to the I’m A Celeb line up that surprised fans, with many interested to see what she’ll be like in a reality TV setting.

And Jamie Lynn also thinks it’ll be a good opportunity to show people a different side to herself; “I think this is a nice chance to show who I really am.”

The Zoey 101 star credits her thick skin as being a good tool for the jungle.

From Lifted Entertainment

“I think my best quality is the fact that it takes a lot to hurt my feelings. Unless you are my children or my immediate family, nothing is going to hurt me. I can take a lot of sh*t and it doesn’t get me down, so I really think it’s a good quality to have in a place where a lot of stuff is thrown at you!”

She also reckons that she might bother other campers by being “impatient…my family would say I get in a bad mood a lot.”

Still, she has a game plan: to stay out of it!

“I will also try to stay out of everything (arguments) unless I feel someone needs my help. Other than that, I am going to mind my own business.”

We wonder how she’ll fare!

Marvin Humes

JLS star Marvin Humes will have the jungle alive with the sound of music!

The TV presenter and ex boy band musician says his wife Rochelle Humes thinks he is “nuts” for going on the show – especially considering his intense fear of heights.

It’s so bad, he admits he once “pulled out of a skydive with JLS in the past because I was too scared!” We can only imagine what the producers will do with that one!

From Lifted Entertainment

As for what role he’ll take in camp, Marvin sees himself as the “mediator” type.

“I do think I will definitely be helping people if anyone is getting down. Hopefully I will be a shoulder to cry on.”

He also notes that his JLS bandmates will be shocked to learn he’s going on the show: “It’s been so hard keeping it a secret from them, and when they find out, they are not going to believe it.”

Good luck Marvin!

Nella Rose

YouTuber and TV presenter Nella Rose has one goal when it comes to entering the Ozzy jungle: keep the humour high.

“I am going to run a Zumba class every morning!,” she declares.

Funnily enough, Nella’s not worried about the food; she’s excited to try something different.

From Lifted Entertainment

“I am addicted to a lot of things. I can’t have food without having something sweet afterwards. I am addicted to honey roasted nuts and fizzy orange drinks, but I am kind of excited to regroup my taste buds. You never know I might even have rice and beans when I am back!”

She continues to say that her family are finding it hilarious that she’s going on this journey.

“My family have been laughing hysterically ever since I told them I was taking part.

“They asked me why I agreed to do this but I’ve been watching I’m A Celebrity ever since I was a child and I still remember Ian Wright locked up in a room with an Ostrich. It’s so iconic and it’s why I said ‘yes’ immediately.”

Gas!

Nick Pickard

Hollyoaks icon Nick Pickard will have fans of the show going crazy as he steps into the wilderness!

The actor says he’s excited to go in as his genuine self, not his character; though he does have some phobias to contest with.

“I am a bit scared of the dark. When you go to the House of Horrors at Halloween and things jump out at you, I am not very good when I can’t see!”

From Lifted Entertainment

Despite the fears, Nick is excited for a new adventure.

“I am so excited. I am obviously not looking forward to eating kangaroo balls but at the same time, I am looking forward to the trials – that’s the fun part of doing this show. I love the ones where you climb up or jump for a star. And I like ones getting submerged in water. I can’t wait now! This is so out of my comfort zone and it’s the best show you can do.”

Grace Dent

Food critic Grace Dent wants I’m A Celeb viewers to know that she isn’t as intimidating as she seems.

“People think I am quite forthright and scary but I don’t think I am scary! Hopefully people will see this.”

Grace also reckons she’ll be good when it comes to food, as she’s a “practical cook”, though she is concerned about the flavour palette.

From Lifted Entertainment

“What makes food is herbs and spices and I am not going to have any ingredients. I don’t know how you are going to make an alligator’s foot taste delicious if there are no spices. I can already imagine the dinner I am going to have the moment I get out. I am going to go to a really fancy restaurant and have something delicious, wearing a lovely dress.”

Grace’s worst fear? The company!

She confesses that her “biggest phobia is really horrible people. I hope I can be somebody who people can talk to and I do hope I can stay out of any drama.”

Easier said than done we think!

Danielle Harold

Another soap star heading into the jungle alongside Nick is EastEnders’ Danielle!

The actress is determined to show people that she’s made of tougher stuff.

“I can be a little ditzy at times but I am definitely not a ‘dumb blonde’. I want to show I can do the trials, challenges and get stuck in.”

From Lifted Entertainment

Danielle confesses that she’s been stocking up and trying to get extra enjoyment out of her favourite treats before she has to give them all up.

“I love snacking and rather than weaning myself off them in the run up, I have gone the opposite way,” she admits. “And so, I have been drinking tons of cola instead of a little and rather than one cup of tea in the morning – which I love – I’ve been drinking three cups!”

There’s one more thing Danielle wants to set straight about her jungle adventure; she’s not in it for the romance!

“I am single and no ‘I am not looking for love’!”

Good woman.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Starts Monday 19th November at 9pm on Virgin Media
