Here’s How Prince William And Kate Middleton Reacted To Prince Harry’s Engagement

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement this morning after months of public speculation, and his brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, have responded to the news.

According to Kensington Palace, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said of the engagement: ‘We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.” Aww!

Harry, aged 33, is said to have popped the question in London earlier this month, and he will marry the 36-year-old Suits actress in the spring of 2018.

The Queen and her husband, Prince Philip, are also delighted by the engagement and “wish them every happiness.”
