Barry did..... a lot.

The Oscar nominations are here at last – and the Irish aren’t that happy.

It’s no surprise that Cillian Murphy will be flying the Irish flag at the Academy Awards.

However, it will surprise people that he is the only Irish actor nominated.

Despite buzz around Andrew Scott, Barry Keoghan and even Paul Mescal after his BAFTA nomination, they all failed to be nominated.

Barry Keoghan has been the talk of the town with his appearance in Saltburn. He has been nominated for a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for his role as Oliver Quick.

And despite doing quite a lot in the movie, if you know, you know, it wasn’t enough for the Academy.

All of Us Strangers was also snubbed by the Oscars with neither Andrew nor Paul getting an award. The film hits Irish cinemas this Friday so you can be the judge of if they deserved to be nominated or not.

But social media has had its say on the situation and they are not impressed!
