Here’s What Shannon Singh Has To Say About Her Shock Love Island Departure

It was a bit of a curveball, to say the least.

We’re only three episodes into this year’s season of Love Island and already we’ve seen a brutal dumping.

Throwing a total curveball into last night’s episode, islander Shannon was given the boot from the villa as we saw bombshell Chloe choose to couple up with Aaron, leaving Shannon single.

Not long after we got the news that Shannon was packing her bags, social media erupted, demanding justice for Shannon, and it seems that she isn’t overly thrilled about her dumping either.

Speaking in her first interview since leaving the show, Shannon said:

“I am a bit gutted. Do you know what, out of all the girls, I think it is fair it’s me because I didn’t have any emotional attachments to the guys, but all the girls had tiny little things [going on]”

“It was very short-lived. Surreal. But I’m obviously very grateful I got the opportunity. I’m not coming away fuming from it, I’m coming away grateful.”

Admitting that she didn’t expect to get dumped, she continued: “I knew they were going to throw something in there, they always do. I knew it was going to be like she [Chloe] was going to take one of the guys. I just can’t believe I forgot there were dumpings.

“I think all of us forgot there were dumpings. None of us really spoke about it.”

When asked if she would head back into the villa if given the chance, Shannon said she would, however, she’s still looking forward to her future plans either way:

“Yeah, why not? (go back in). I want to get back on my streaming and I then go on holiday with the girls. And then I’ll suss out what to do.”

Shannon also predicted who she thinks will stand the test of time in the villa, sharing a clear favourite:

“I think the ones that can stand the test of time are Jake [Cornish] and Liberty [Poole],”

Iiiiinteresting.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
