Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Christmas is fast approaching, which means we’re filled with gratitude for all of the joy and cheer brought on by this season.

We’ve also got gift giving (and receiving, lets be honest!) on our minds, so we’re excited by all of the gorgeous bits that we’ll be sharing amongst loved ones in the weeks to come!

From scrumptious beauty products to beautiful rugs, glitzy jewellery and some good old Irish trad music, here’s everything Team STELLAR is loving this week.

Jade is loving… Fresh fades

There’s just something about a good blow dry – the freshness, the warmth, the treat element of doing something nice for yourself and emerging with bouncy curls even if you’ve nowhere to be after.

This month, Team STELLAR was invited into Peter Mark to get a gorgeous ghd blow dry to mark the beginning of the festive season and their latest Christmas offerings.

I am a firm believer in the power of layering your body bits in order to smell scrumptious.

My recent obsession is from The Body Shop – their Pears & Share line has me drooling every time I lather, scrub, moisturise and mist. It’s key to smelling good all day long! They’ve also got a Cherries & Cheer collection (equally delicious).

The best part? The products are all vegan, never tested on animals, and full of fair trade ingredients.

Jade is loving… A solid deal

It’s Black Friday today, which means you’re probably going to be inundated with deals, sales, and the intense pressure of what to buy (if anything!)

Aoife is loving…the glamour of GUESS

I had the pleasure of stopping by a showroom with GUESS to check out some of their fabulous festive collection (which is so glitzy and gorgeous it took extreme restraint not to blow my savings there and then), but guys; I had no idea GUESS was so affordable?!

Of course, they have lots of beautiful, high end, luxury items to treat yourself with this Christmas, but there’s also drop dead gorgeous jewellery pieces, accessories and gifts starting at seriously reasonable prices.

With a beautiful retro pair of sunnies, I officially became a GUESS girl. Who knew?!

Jade is loving… Winter wonderlands

If you can’t head out on the town this winter and nab yourself a delicious, winter-y themed cocktail and some tasty brunch food all the while basking in a gorgeously decorated winter-woodland space, then what can you do?!

Café en Seine recently opened their Fever-Tree Frozen Woodland, and it’s the perfect weekend treat. Get the cherry cocktail and the Turkish eggs. You won’t regret it.

The winter hideaway is running until December 7, so book yourself a table asap. 

We’re also loving… Gorgeous skincare

This week, much loved Japanese brand SHISEIDO hosted a glamorous night of cocktails and sushi inspired bites in Dublin’s RHA Gallery to celebrate the launch of their new Vital Perfection Night Concentrate.

The product is lightweight, dermatologically proven to improve the look of skin, and is at the absolute forefront of skincare technology.

It also feels gorgeous on your face, just fyi.

And we’re loving… A beautiful rug!

A room isn’t complete without one. Jazzy patterns, cool shades, intricate designs… rugs come in all shapes and sizes, and if you’re in the market for a new one, we’ve got just the ticket.

This month, Northern Irish brand Kukoon launched their new sustainable range of rugs, and they are only gorgeous. The new collection has been made using 80% recycled cotton, and they are still extremely reasonably priced too.

As well as… A bit of trad

And what better time to enjoy it than in the depths of freezing weather with a pint in hand?

The Powers Golden Hours series is back and has just been added to this year’s Other Voices line up. Paidi O’Sé’s pub in the West Kerry Gaeltacht will play host to a gorgeous evening of song and story-telling on Sunday December 3.
