Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Drinks and food and other stuff too

Happy Friday.

It’s almost the weekend – and you know what that means.

Time to sit back, relax, and see what Team STELLAR has been loving this week.

From at-home cocktails to thrilling reads to gorgeous haircare, here’s everything we’ve been loving the past while.

Bronwyn is loving… a good book

There’s nothing better than spending the evenings tucked up reading a book. I’ve become seriously obsessed with The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo.

This historical fantasy is set during the Spanish Golden Age when Luzia, a poor maid’s life is turned upside down when her her use of magic garners her the attention of the Spanish king’s disgraced secretary.

With the country eager to use anything they can against the English, Luzia’s forced to do things and go to places she could never have. I seriously couldn’t put the book down!

Jade is loving… afternoon tea

If there’s a better feeling than having a glass of sparkling rosé in hand, an array of sandwiches in front of you, and a load of pastries en route, I’d love to hear about it.

Anantara The Marker recently launched their new Poetry and Places afternoon tea experience… and it’s truly something.

Inspired by Ireland’s poems and gorgeous landscapes, the afternoon tea features sparkling rosé Bollinger, a selection of tasty sandwiches and a beautiful stand of cakes and pastries, all curated by Executive Chef Gareth Mullins and Head Pastry Chef Sebastian Ritzen.

The chocolate Guinness cake – wow. You can make yourself a reservation here.

Bronwyn is loving… healthy hair

After bleaching my hair for the better part of a decade, she’s fairly fried. The last few months I’ve been going on a haircare journey to take my hair from lifeless to lustrous.

And while I’ve put down the bleach, I won’t be putting down the styling tools. While I’ve swapped to the Dyson, you still need to use some good old fashioned heat protection. And I have fallen in love with R+CO’s Hot Spell ThermoTech Blow Out Balm.

You just pop it into damp hair and it stops damage and frizziness. Oh and it washes out like a dream.

Jade is loving… a gorge cocktail

I love a cocktail, and I love being at home.

I am, however, not the best at making cocktails. They end up too strong, too weak, or with bits of egg white floating in them. Grim enough.

Lucky for me, Joanna Cooper has just launched a new range of bottled cocktails ideal for a quiet night in, pre-drinks with the gals, etc. Stun.

Coops Cocktails include Margarita, Sexy Margarita, Whiskey Sour, Cosmo, Espresso Martini, and Pornstar Martini, so there’s something to suit every taste.

So, night in anyone?
