Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
Here we go
Summer is officially here – allegedly.
But listen, we’re not here to talk about the weather. We’re here to talk about what we’ve been loving this week.
From drinks to skincare to a good mayonnaise, there’s a good array of bits.
… New gins
The IT drink of the summer is, once again, a G&T. You heard it here first.
But not just any G&T. A G&T that is made with orange and sea salt, and also tastes like it too.
Dingle Gin just dropped their newest addition to their alcohol collection… and a gorgie new bottle too.
Dingle Gin Orange & Sea Salt is made with hand selected organic Spanish oranges that are washed, hand squeezed, and distilled separately in a small copper still to fully extract their natural aromatic oils.
The West of Dingle Sea Salt is also hand harvested directly from the Atlantic, and brings a clean mineral brightness and subtle coastal salinity to the finish. Love.
… Good mayo
Nothing excites me more than a good mayo. Well, a few things do, but a good mayo is certainly up there.
Creamy, tasty, and the ideal addition to sandwiches, dips, and spicy noodle dishes, mayonnaise is an elite condiment. And there’s a black pepper one on the market that’s been elevating my dishes all week long.
Ballymaloe Mayo is the GOAT when it comes to mayonnaise. And now, the brand is trying to establish their product as the ‘ultimate’ mayo with some ‘cracked’ dish ideas.
Get it? Like cracked black pepper? You get it.
Pop some in your scrambled eggs, your Caesar dressing, or smear it all over your chicken before you roast it. She’s versatile.
… A lip liner, or two
MERIT Beauty know what they’re doing when it comes to makeup and perfumes and skincare and… yeah, they’re pretty much killing it across the board.
They’ve recently added some new shades to their gorgeously formulated lip liners, that glide on with ease, leaving a striking pop of colour that’s easy to work with, and looks incredible.
Designed for soft definition and sheer all-over colour, these wearable colours feel polished yet undone – and will look just stunning with your SS16 looks this year.
I myself am heading away to Primavera Festival this week, and I’m dying to wear Bauhaus (rich dark plum) with a clear gloss for a y2k inspired lip look.
MERIT are also curating cheek-and-lip duos, pairing their Signature Lip Liner with coordinating Flush Balm shades for effortless monochromatic beauty looks. Check out the range here.
… Soft skincare
Is your skin struggling in the heat? Is it sweaty, or dry, or super sensitive?
Well, you might be interested to hear that Irish brand Elave Skincare are all about sensitive skin, and they’ve been doing so for more than 90 years.
Their entire range is free from sulphates, soap, perfume, alcohol and artificial colours, helping minimise the risk of irritation for delicate and reactive skin.
They’re also Guaranteed Irish and B Corp certified, dermatologically approved, PETA-certified cruelty-free and suitable for use during pregnancy.
Elave Intense Moisture Surge has been my saviour these past few weeks. Its Fractionated Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, and Glycerine have left my skin feeling super soft and my barrier protected.
More of this please.
