Here’s What Went Down Behind The Scenes At The Met Gala

We’ve all been glued to our phones this morning taking in all the fashion from this year’s Met and by now we think we’ve seen pretty much all of what the carpet had to offer…

But now we turn our attention to what went on off the carpet, before the celebs stepped out into the public eye and after they reached the top of the steps (what does actually happen in there?), we’ve done our scrolling and gotten the tea we could so sit back and enjoy what you don’t see on TV.

Katy Perry started off the pre-event content with this reality look of what it’s like getting your corset tied.

Andrew Fitzsimons also shared some pre-carpet content showing his followers his set up before doing Camila Cabello’s hair on the night. Using his own products on the Met Gala, what an exciting moment, congratulations Andrew!

We then had this gem of a snap from some of our fave celebs carpooling to the event! Who can you spot?

Moving on to after the carpet, we spotted some pretty cool unlikely pairings inside the event. Let’s go to the iconic bathroom, here we have the coolest girl gang in town with Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Billie Eilish, Winnie Harlow, Emma Chamberlain and Jenna Ortega all having the chats. We wonder what the goss was!

We can also see that Kendall changed into a mini skirt after the carpet, way more comfortable we’re guessing and looks super cute.

Billie was also spotted hanging out with Bella and Gigi Hadid and Lizzo, sorry how fun do they look?!

Of course, we got some shots of the dance floor too, Vanessa Hudgens is front and center and we are not surprised to see it!

When it was time to head home comfort was key, well that’s according to Kim and Khloe who left their hotel in tracksuits, the only way to travel tbh.

Seeing celebs in their natural habitat at a party or on their way home is pretty cool, lets us know we aren’t so different afterall. We all take our heels off and wear trackies at the end of the night guys!! We’d be well able for the Met!
