Set in the sparkling Mediterranean Sea and with year-round sunshine, it’s easy to see why the stunning Maltese Islands make for the perfect getaway. But the gorgeous islands have much more to offer than a beautiful landscape; they’re fast becoming a destination where you can party all night and recoup on the beach with a cocktail during the day, offering the perfect place to let off steam, whether you’re an exam tired student letting loose for the summer or a busy professional, seeking late night thrills in a stunning location.
This party mecca is home to a thriving and eclectic line up of music festivals that attracts a high profile line up of acts to its shores every year. There’s something for everyone, from Annie Mac’s Lost & Found festival in May – now in its 5th year – featuring a series of day and night parties in the open-air arena, to Earth Garden, at the end of May, that combines music from around the world – including Reggae, Alternative Rock, Psychedelic Trance, Techno, Hip-Hop and Electro – and celebrates cultural diversity, with daily workshops, a yoga & meditation area and an Ethnic market.
Outside the jam-packed festival calendar, Malta boasts a vast array of live music bars, pubs, nightclubs and more for you to party the night away in. You can party ’til dawn in Paceville, located in St. Julian’s or enjoy a more chilled vibe in chic cocktail bar Kingsway in Valletta.
Danced all night and still eager for adventure? The Maltese Islands have it all with scuba diving, quad biking, rock climbing and boat trips all available. Or, if you’re weary from the night before, just enjoy a cold one on the beach before enjoying the party scene all over again.
