Can you believe it’s been almost a whole year since we watched the last season of Emily In Paris?? Having been one of the most anticipated Netflix shows of 2021, fans of the show will be pleased to know, we’ve officially been treated to our very first look into the brand new season!!

After a late December release last year, it didn’t take long for the show to be renewed not only for a third season but a fourth too, with Netflix announcing the news just a mere few weeks after the second season premiered!

So as we wait for more information, we thought why not delve into everything we know about the upcoming series so far?

Filming Updates

We first got word of filming, when Lily Collins, who plays the famous Emily, took to her Instagram account on June 1st to share a new shot of her and Ashley Park to mark the start of production. Writing in her caption, “Reunited in Paris! Let season 3 filming begin!…” 

While Ashley herself has also been sharing an array of behind-the-scenes photos with her fellow co-star from her time back in Paris giving us all the feels!

First Look

Just yesterday, Netflix unveiled a slew of first-look photos from the new season which Lily and Camille Razat both shared to their socials. And let us tell you this, they all look absolutely FABULOUS – as to be expected, of course.

If the photos are anything to go, it seems like it’s also safe to presume all of the main characters will return with Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, Camille Razat as Camille and William Abadie as Antoine Lambert.

The Plot

So far, they’re all keeping pretty tight-lipped about what the plot will involve for the third season, but if the shocking season 2 finale is anything to go by we could be looking at a potential storyline of Emily making a life-changing decision about her professional and personal future in Paris. While in the process, no doubt effectively altering the course of her relationships with both Gabriel and Alfie.

But as the teaser photos show, we are no doubt in store for a whole lot of laughs, drama and stunning fashion too!!

Release Date

Although a release date has yet to be officially unveiled, as the cast and crew have already started filming earlier this year, we could be looking at an early 2023 premiere – all going well!!

The cast, however, will be making an appearance at a Tudum fan event tomorrow to share some scoop on season 3 and if last year’s event is anything to go by, their appearance could include a release date and a trailer.
